Justin Thomas on Top, Kim Close Behind After Impressive 62

Justin Thomas will lead Scottie Scheffler by one shot heading into Sunday’s final round of the Hero World Challenge after shooting a bogey-free six-under 66. Thomas, who is currently 17-under par, delivered a solid performance at Albany Golf Club in the Bahamas. Scheffler, the world number one, ended the day with a 69, missing a birdie putt on the 18th hole. Despite the missed opportunity, Scheffler sits at 16-under par, just one shot behind Thomas.

South Korea’s Tom Kim had a spectacular round, moving up seven spots to third place with a 10-under 62. Kim was 11-under for the round after 16 holes but stumbled with a double-bogey on the par-three 17th, ending his hopes of tying the course record of 61. Nevertheless, Kim managed to hole a bunker shot for a birdie on the final hole, leaving him two strokes behind Thomas at 15-under. US Ryder Cup captain Keegan Bradley continued his strong play with a bogey-free 68, improving to 13-under par, four shots off the lead.

Scotland’s Robert MacIntyre had a mixed final stretch, making four birdies and two bogeys over his last six holes, carding a 68 to finish on 9-under par. England’s Aaron Rai posted a 72, staying at two-under par and is tied for 14th place in the 20-man field. As the tournament heads into its final round, Justin Thomas will look to hold on to his slim lead over a strong chasing pack with Scheffler, Kim and Bradley all within striking distance.
