Snoop Dogg Joins Olympic Torch Relay as Final Torchbearer

Snoop Dogg, the American rapper will carry the Olympic flame as one of the final torchbearers leading up to Friday’s opening ceremony in Paris. Specifically, the 52-year-old will run with the torch through Saint-Denis, a suburb in northern Paris and home to the Stade de France Olympic Stadium on Friday. Snoop Dogg, whose real name is Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr., was born in Los Angeles. Los Angeles will host the 2028 Summer Games. He will now join the torch relay in this significant role.
