The PDC World Championship begins on December 15 at London’s Alexandra Palace. Humphries the defending champion will face either Thibault Tricole or Joe Comito in the first round.
Michael Smith the 2023 world champion and second seed will play either Kevin Doets or Noa-Lynn van Leuven the first transgender woman to qualify for the tournament. Three-time champion Michael van Gerwen is set to meet the winner of James Hurrell and Jim Long while 2017 and 2019 world champion Peter Wright will face Wesley Plaisier or Ryusei Azemoto.

If the seeds advance, potential third-round matchups include Humphries vs. Van Barneveld and Van Gerwen vs. Anderson.
