Mink Nutcharut Triumphs in First All-Female Snooker Match

Mink Nutcharut from Thailand secured a historic victory at the English Open in Brentwood, Essex defeating England’s Reanne Evans. This marked the first time two female players competed against each other on the professional World Snooker Tour. Nutcharut, aged 24, demonstrated impressive form by winning three consecutive frames to achieve a 4-2 triumph over Evans, who is a former women’s world champion and 38 years old.

This win not only highlights Nutcharut’s growing prowess in snooker but also grants her a notable match-up in the second round against Ricky Walden. Walden a seasoned player will be a significant challenge as Nutcharut continues her pursuit in the ranking tournament.
