Fitspo of the week: Fitness is not just about physical beauty

Fitness is not just about physical beauty

(Mansion Sports News) – “Wake up, kick ass, do exercise, repeat!” (Tough translation: Wake up, get off your butt, practice and repeat).

That is the message for a healthy life that Phuong Ly (Lyskeli Nguyen) aims for. As a stylist and fashionista, this girl in Ho Chi Minh City has an interesting perspective on female beauty.

Muscle is a quite familiar word and according to traditional beliefs, it is only for men. In the past, women with muscles were often teased and given humorous phrases like “strong woman” or “manly” girl, but now muscles are beauty. for girls with personality.

Personally, I really like to see girls with fit and toned bodies. Looking at that body, I can see the persistence and hard work, which creates a very unique attraction. That deserves respect

Perhaps that is the biggest change in traditional and modern concepts of female beauty.

If in the past, the concept of women with slim bodies, or “thin” bodies, was considered beautiful, but now things are different. I think the COVID-19 epidemic is also a factor in creating a wave that I call “a revolution in the fight for health”!

Everyone at home tries to exercise to increase their immune system and phrases like gym, body fitness, building, and healthy diets are becoming more and more familiar to the community from young to old. The stars in the world that I know like Queen Bee (Beyonce), Jo, Madonna, Natalie Portman, Scarlett Johansson… appear in movies with strong, muscular bodies that are still hot and sexy.

Gradually, those models have changed the concept of beauty of muscular women.Beautiful women are women who look healthy and confident.

Fitness is not just physical training. You also have to train mentally.

I have half a year of experience practicing boxing. Before starting to practice, I thought it was okay to be physically strong, but it wasn’t until | practiced with the coaches that I discovered another important thing. That is discipline and a healthy diet.

I have changed a lot of bad habits (staying up late, staying up late, eating without counting calories, eating fried foods, milk tea, snacking, not sleeping enough, drinking little water, being stressed and irritable). ) and then transform into better habits (discipline, punctuality, go to bed early, get up early, eat healthy with a formula of 2 parts vegetables and 1 part meat, drink lots of water, reduce irritability, for example…).

The balance between muscle training and nutrition is most important.

In addition to focusing on appropriate muscle exercises, diet accounts for 60%-70% of the results of changes in your body. You should learn about your own body and build a foundation of knowledge about proper nutrition and appropriate exercise regimen.

If you want to lose weight, you should calculate the amount of calories you take in each day, so that it is less than the amount of calories you will consume and burn in a day.

After a process, I also learned 4 common mistakes. I’m also the one who got it.

The first mistake is not having a clear goal when exercising. So most of you will easily be in a state of confusion and easily give up after a short time. The body is like a house, you need to try a specific plan to build it. The item should be clearly detailed and within how long.

The second most common mistake is lack of knowledge about exercise regimen. You may choose the wrong exercises as well as the wrong tools for your muscles. Beginners cannot practice the exercises of experienced people. In addition, many people confuse body fitness and bodybuilding.

Mistake number three: Not combining exercise with a suitable diet. For example, if you exercise too much, but your diet is too poor in nutrients, your muscle group will not develop.

The fourth mistake is lacking perseverance and discipline, not being committed to yourself. Many people go to the gym and only think about the results (beautiful body, abs) but forget that exercise is a long-term process! Your body will not see much change if you practice for 1 day or 2 days.

Must persevere and continue. The change will be clearly visible in 3 months, 6 months and 1 year.

Overcoming personal barriers is the biggest difficulty. No prejudice can defeat you except you. Many times I wanted to give up halfway through practice.
